MRF - Arc melt furnaces
Our selection of arc melt furnaces is low cost, compact, simple to operate and reliable, yet can reach temperatures up to 3700C and find use in a wide range of applications. Common applications include: Powder melting, Annealing, Creating alloys, Crucible welding, Metallic buttons, Material densification, Arc Casting, Crystal Growing, and High purity melts.
Single Arc Melt SA-200
- SA-200 is our smallest most economical arc melt
- furnace. It comes with a single arc and 2" (51mm) dia. melting area.
Three Arc Melt TA-200
- TA-200 is similar to our SA200 but has three arcs and bigger power supply, allowing for larger, more uniform melts.
Small bell Jar ABJ-338
- ABJ-338 has a 3.38” dia. (86mm.) heart with
- (86mm.) heart with multiple melting cavities. Chamber hinges back for easy loading.
- 2.75" (70mm) viewport, fully water-cooled.
Large Bell Jar ABJ-900
- ABJ-900 has a 9" dia. (230mm) hearth with multiple cavities, 4" (102mm) viewport, hinged chamber for easy loading and largest number of options.
Tri-Arc large Bell Jar ABJ-900
- ABJ-900 Tri-Arc has three arcs and is often used for crystal growing with the optional crystal growing kit. Three arcs allow for a larger more uniform melt.
